life in the kiddie pool...

this morning/afternoon i went downstairs to get the mail, and ran into a suspicious puddle on the floor. upon further investigation it would appear that it is definately some sort of urine. after speculation i determined it is most certainly of the human nature...as growing up with pets all my life i am familiar with animal urine. dogs prefer to lift a leg and pee on something, i.e. fire hydrant, tree trunk or moving boxes...cats don't like to pee unless then can carefully bury it after. therefore, a to hence, this said puddle is of human descent. i did not sign up to live in the shallow end of a kiddie pool. this is not the first incident with feces or excrement that we have had at the new york apartment. what? what's that you say? why indeed, the first offense was last week. some careless tenant upstairs trailed cat litter and it's solid contents all down the stairs and hallway. this person was thoughtless and inconsiderate as they must have noticed upon returning from the alley (where the empty trash bag rests) that the entire contents of the bag was now littering our stairway and halls...not to mention a very pungent odor that was wafting through the building. i guess things are more lax in the N Y C.

it's so great that you documented both of these instances. i love it. coming from someone who had a cat shit in her bed recently, i definitely appreciate the nastiness of these two scenarios!!!
